Peachie boy

Petunia Blossom

Petunia Blossom

This beautiful cat I found sitting in the middle of my busy street as a young kitten. As I was trying to rescue her, a gentleman in a p/u truck attempted to run her over with a big smile on his face. She came out from under his wheels unharmed. Now Tuna enjoys the safety of the outdoors inside her fenced in backyard.

Tweety Cat

Tweety Cat

In loving memory of Tweety Cat who passed
away at 11. She got her name because of the
bird noise she always made. Tweety was my
first orphaned newborn, only 2-3 days old.
Everything a momma cat does - I did!

Lucy

Lucy

In loving memory of Lucy who passed away
in April 2007 at 12. She just loved people and
changed many minds about Roteweilers.
Born with only half a left hip socket, Lucy blew her knee out playing soccer and had knee replacement surgery in 2000.
After successful rehab, she fully resumed her soccer career.

Angel

Angel

In loving memory of Angel.
I found this sweetest of creatures on my porch.
I think my mail carrier at the time delivered her.
Anyway, she was a special delivery.

Honey Hound

Honey Hound

I found Honey Hound abandoned in my neighborhood.
Sadly, she was a victim of serious abuse.
Part redbone hound, part English pointer, Honey had to be trained not to hunt down her new siblings.
Honey Hound is the official taste taster of my all natural,
Dawg-gone Good Biscuits.

Honey Hound's year long battle with liver cancer came to a close June 14, 2010. I miss her.

Taz

Taz

Short for Tasmanian Devil - this little
guy kept climbing into my backyard
until I kept him. I almost named him
Bowie because like David Bowie,
Taz has heterochromia.

Miss Kitty

Miss Kitty

In loving memory of Miss Kitty who passed
away in March at 18. She was my first pet
and I adopted her from the shelter. Miss
Kitty was the first of my cats I leash trained
to go on walks. Peope stopped and stared.

Peaches and Boo Bear

Peaches and Boo Bear

I always wanted twins!
These two brothers were orphaned
newborns, about 5 days old.
They are quite the comedy duo!

Chester

Chester

My first male of the pride, and now my
oldest pet at 15, Chester is a lover, not
a fighter.

Sam I Am

Sam I Am

In loving memory of Sam I Am who
passed away at 11 years of age.
Sam hitched a ride from a visitor and
stayed. He gave fantastic kitty shiatsu
massages on my aching back.

Precious

Precious

In loving memory of Precious who
passed away in February at 18 years old.
Precious was rescued from the shelter
after her prior owner surrendered her
when she was run over by a vehicle.
Her two favorite places - the microwave
and my lap.

Julia Child Sugarbaker

Julia Child Sugarbaker

My most recent furry friend rescue, Julia has been aptly named after Julia Sugarbaker and Julia Child. She posseses that unique souther charm combined with quick wit and an appetite for peculiar food.

Princess

Princess

I adopted Princess from Young-Williams Animal Center in July. She is an older girl who has found her new "furever" home.
